Cream Bleaches

Fade away dark stubborn hair with cream bleaches

You can make unwanted hair less noticeable in the comfort of your own home with hair bleaching cream kits. If you've never tried them before, don't worry. With the right products, bleaching at home is an easy, convenient and effective method to lighten unwanted hair without removing it.

"The new Veet Hair Bleach Cream is ideal for at-home bleaching," says Kathleen Jackson, senior brand manager at Reckitt Benckiser, makers of Veet Brand. "With its subtle fragrance, light texture and softening oils, you can say good bye to dark hair in approximately 10 minutes, resulting in a sun-kissed look."

Hair cream bleach can be used on the upper lip of the face and other parts of the body such as the arms, legs and bikini line. To ensure no reaction to the product, it's very important to test a small area of the skin you wish to treat. Here are a few more tips to make the procedure as easy and successful as possible:

Getting Started

. Wash the area of the skin thoroughly to remove residual lotions or oils and ensure the area is as dry as possible.

. Using the applicator, mix the suggested amounts of activating cream and hair bleaching cream in the mixing shell provided in the kit.

Putting it On

. Using the applicator, smooth the mixture over the area to be treated.

. After 10 minutes, check the hair. If the hair is not light enough, you can leave the cream on for another five minutes, but do not exceed 15 minutes total application time.

Taking it Off

. Using the applicator, remove the cream.

. Rinse the treated area thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry without rubbing.

. Be sure to wash the mixing shell and applicator thoroughly for the next use.
